The ultrasonic level meter NUS-4 is used in applications for monitoring tank levels and flow in open channels discharging into the environment at wastewater treatment plants.

Overview:

 The ultrasonic level meter NUS-4 does not come into direct contact with the medium; it uses ultrasonic wave technology to calculate the time difference when the signal reflects off the surface of the water or liquid.

 The ultrasonic level meter NUS-4 is commonly used for tank level measurement and open channel flow monitoring in wastewater treatment plants before discharge into the environment. Common types of open channels include Parshall flumes, rectangular channels, V-notch weirs, etc.

 To facilitate the simultaneous configuration of multiple measuring devices, including multiple NUS-4 ultrasonic level transmitters at various locations within the plant, Kobold Vietnam also provides the HARTCOMM toolkit.

The operator connects a PC to the HARTCOMM toolkit and the terminal box, which is wired to the NUS-4 ultrasonic level transmitters according to the standard HART wiring structure for configuration, allowing up to 15 different devices to be configured.
